Blood Pathology Analysis

Pathology review for athletes/competitors (supplements, peptides, steroids)

Are you using supplements or performance enhancing compounds?

Regular blood pathology isn’t optional; it’s essential. Having correct data aids in;

  • Optimising Performance
  • Early Detection of Fatigue and Overtraining
  • Injury Prevention and Recovery planning
  • Monitoring Hydration and Electrolytes
  • Immune System functioning
  • Hormonal Health and Energy Availability
  • Cardiovascular and Metabolic Screening
  • Individualised Training and Nutrition advice with the use of blood glucose mapping

Monitoring allows for informed decisions, safer planning, and timely adjustments; protecting long-term health, performance, and recovery. Guesswork costs gains.

Train with data, not assumptions. In-depth blood pathology, blood glucose sensor mapping, and personalised supplementation provide clear, actionable data that athletes can follow themselves or share directly with their coach. Delivering clarity, control, and safer performance progression.

Guesswork costs gains. Precision fuels performance.

What Blood Pathology Looks At:
  • Personalised to individual needs, blood tests may review:
  • Hormones (total & free levels, suppression, recovery markers)
  • Lipids (cholesterol and cardiovascular risk)
  • Liver and kidney function
  • Blood thickness and oxygen-carrying capacity
  • Inflammation and recovery indicators Metabolic markers (glucose, insulin sensitivity)
  • Vitamins and mineral levels
  • Monitoring and Risk of Chronic conditions
  • Early detection of disease or deterioration
  • Assessment and treatment of supplement effectiveness

These markers provide a full internal performance picture, not just external results.

Why Blood Pathology Matters

When trying to achieve your best at the gym, it’s important that your body is operating at optimal levels on the inside to be able to achieve the best in the gym. You may look great, however is your body performing at its absolute best?

Supplements of all kinds can improve your performance in the gym but this means nothing if it is not done in combination with the management of all other limiting factors. (Diet, Healthcare Routine, Sleep etc)

Blood pathology provides objective insight into how your body is responding and functioning; allowing informed decisions that support performance, recovery, long-term health and longevity.

Why Get Blood Tests?

Blood pathology helps to:
  • Identify early warning signs before symptoms appear
  • Monitor how your body responds to supplementation or enhancement
  • Reduce avoidable health risks
  • Replace guesswork with data-driven planning

If you track your training, nutrition, and recovery. Tracking your blood markers is the next logical step.

Regular blood pathology isn’t optional; it’s essential. Blood tests show how your body is actually responding, not just how you feel. They help identify early stress on organs, hormone imbalances, cardiovascular risk, and markers that can drift silently before symptoms appear.

The Review Process

  1. Blood Collection – Blood samples are taken through a standard pathology provider.
  2. Professional Interpretation – Pathology analysis reviewed in the full context of training load, goals, lifestyle, and history.
  3. Clear Explanation – We will sit with you and discuss what is happening in your body and what we can do to rectify or improve any factors that could be affecting your overall health and performance.
  4. Structured Monitoring Plan – Ongoing testing schedules may be recommended to track trends over time
  5. Detailed Summary & Action Plan – You will receive a copy of all blood pathology to do with as you wish (it will not be uploaded to my health record if you wish not. A plan will be provided in great detail for steps moving forward to achieve your goals
  6. Informed Decision-Making – The goal is clarity. Not fear, not guesswork

The Bottom Line

Performance enhancement increases responsibility. Blood pathology isn’t about judgment — It’s about knowledge, safety, and sustainability. Your blood shows how your body is actually responding, not just how you feel. It identifies early organ stress, hormone disruption, and cardiovascular risk before performance drops or damage occurs.

Substance Education

Education on How Substances Affect The Body

SUPPLEMENTS, HORMONES & PERFORMANCE

Maximise Results. Minimise Risk.

Peptides, hormones, and performance-enhancing compounds can deliver powerful results—but they also increase physiological stress and responsibility. Pathology analysis ensures your body can handle the load.

Potential Benefits

  • Increased muscle growth, strength, and recovery
  • Improved body composition and muscle retention
  • Metabolic and weight-management support
  • Enhanced immunity and gut health
  • Cardiovascular health and support
  • Cognitive and neurological performance
  • Improved skin, hair and nail health
  • Support for muscle growth and recovery
  • Improved cardiovascular, digestion & gut health
  • Cognitive and neurological support

Our Approach

Clearer information. Reduced risk. Better decisions.

Substance Safety

Substance Analysis & Risk Awareness

In performance and health, what you’re using matters just as much as how you’re using it. In unregulated environments, products are not always consistent, accurately labelled, or predictable, making informed decision-making difficult without the right support.

With the rise of performance-focused content and advice online, more individuals are being exposed to substances without fully understanding their composition, quality, or potential impact on the body. This increases the risk of contamination, misidentification, and unintended physiological stress.

At SET Health Fitness, we provide in-clinic substance analysis and professional guidance designed to support education, awareness, and risk reduction.

We work with individuals who want to take a more informed and responsible approach to their health and performance. Whether you are experienced or just exploring your options, this service is designed to give you greater clarity and control.

Why It Matters

Uncertainty carries risk, especially when it comes to performance and health.

Without accurate insight:

  • Products may not match what they claim to be
  • Potency and dosage can vary significantly
  • Contamination or substitution may go unnoticed
  • The impact on your body becomes harder to predict

Many risks occur before any noticeable symptoms, meaning decisions made without reliable information can have longer-term consequences.

At SET Health Fitness, we help to reduce that uncertainty, supporting smarter decisions, improved safety, and better long-term outcomes.
